Sports
- College Basket-ball team got 1st prize in the 13th Inter Collegiate games and sports conducted by Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada.
- Two Girl students represented NTRUHS in the All India Inter University Swimming Championships.
- Basket-Ball Men team were runners-up in District Level Basket-ball tournament.
- Three boys were selected in the Basket-ball team of NTR University of Health Sciences in the Tournament held at VIT, Vellore.
- Mr. Abhinav is selected to represent NTR University in the South India Badminton tournament.
- Boys students were selected in the Lawn Tennnis and Volley ball teams by NTR University of Health Sciences.
- College teams in Badminton, Table tennis, Lawn tennis, Volley ball and Basket ball regularly participate in Inter Medical & Dental Games and Sports conducted by NTR University of Health Sciences.
- Conduct of Annual Sports & Games for staff and students is a regular feature.
Academic
- 2ND Prize in QUIZ competition held in APASICON-2010 Conference at Vijayawada.
- 3rd Prize in Forensic Photography Competition held during Forensic Medicon-2010 at Bhopal.
- Dr. Dip Narayan Mukherjee has got University Gold Medical in the subject of M.D. (Microbiology).

- Dr. PNVSV Prasad, department of orthopaedics has an entry in the Limca Book of India records – 2009 for the longest limb lengthening achieved in Indian using the Ilizarov method.
- Dr. K. Kalyan Kumar, Assistant Professor of Biochemistry awarded Ph.D. Degree from Manipal University in December, 2009.
- Dr. Dip Narayan Mukherjee, P.G. in M.D. (Microbiology) got Gold Medal for securing highest marks in the Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences Examinations.
- Dr. Shaikh Khaja, Professor of Forensic Medicine gave Guest Lecture on Hospital Violence and Management at XXX Annual Conference of Indian Academy of Forensic Medicine held at Nagpur in Feb. 2009.
- Dr. Shaikh Khaja, Professor of Forensic Medicine gave guest lecture on Legal aspects of Medical practice in present scenario at XXXI Annual National Conference of Indian Academy of Forensic Medicine held at Bhopal in February 2010.
